    Hi, everyone!

I am currently using updraft to back up my wp content. But it takes many hours until one back up is made. What tools do you use? I would like the back up to be done in a few minutes, not a few hours.

I lost one day’s work when TMD had to fix the MYQSOL problem that they had yesterday, because I did not have time to do the back up. Before that back up, the last one was done a few months ago… All my work would have been lost.

So let’s hear what better alternatives are out there, if we want to back up our wp site.

There are many such plugins but the one I use and can recommend is named “All-in-One WP Migration”. It is a free software that back ups your entire adult WordPress site including all the videos or pictures that you have uploaded into it and exports it to a remote location which can be your server, DropBox, Google Drive, et cetera.

It is a simple and straightforward settings solution for people with no experience that wants to make back ups without needing to contact hosting support team.

The other one is named “BackWPup”. I have not used it but I know many adult webmasters that have it installed. It does pretty much everything that the first one that I mentioned, but it also has a pro version with more features.

“Duplicator – WordPress Migration Plugin” is also very useful. I use it to transfer entire installations from localhost to online or from one server to another. But you can also use it to save your entire site (files and database) on your local machine.
