I’ve been an affiliate marketer for two years now and I’m promoting different mainstream products on my blogs. I’m doing fairly fun but I stumbled upon this website on the other forum and I wonder if it is legal to create an adult website in the country which has banned porn, for example in India, Pakistan, China, Middle East, Russia. I don’t plan on making movies myself, just embedding stuff from other porn tubes and writing some posts and monetize with some programs mentioned on here. I’ve seen on other forums many webmasters from my country doing this but I need this information from experts.

First of all, I do not know the law of your country nor I am qualified to give any legal advice, but the general rule is that if you host your website outside of your place, use the WHOIS privacy protection which comes free with a domain, also do not write in your native language, preferably use only English and you do not brag about your online work, you should be fine. If you ever got asked what you do for a living, just tell that you are an affiliate marketer promoting other’s products but never mention porn or anything related.

I’m from the India and I’ve been an adult affiliate for a one year. I earn around $700 from it and it’s way better than an average payout where I live so it can be done if you’re wise about it but you have to stay as discreet as possible.

Is it essential to use offshore servers and hosting? Is it need to block my country?

You definitely should host your website outside of your country that banned porn but luckily, there is no shortage of hosting providers in the USA and in the Europe, so just use them and I recommend TMDHosting, they have different locations you can choose.

And as I have said in the reply to your comment, it is not required to ban the country from viewing your website. If the country bans porn, they will do this themselves.

Hey there! What are the ways to remain as discreet as possible ? Apart from using WhoIs privacy protection and using VPN what do you do to remain private and discreet ?

Well, it depends on your country. You should be fine if you do things that you included but make some research on the web to find out some information about this.
