Hello All,
I recently read in a forum that Google is now penalizing Tube Sites for embedding videos as duplicate content. They are saying that you need to hide the source code to the video so that Google doesn’t penalize your site…
Is there any truth to this and/or has anyone here been penalized by Google for duplicate content….?
Well, Google always favored sites with hosted videos but I have lots of embed tubes and they still do great. If you use the plugin like the KenPlayer, I bet it does help a bit but you can still rank well with embeds if you go for the niche stuff.

How much Google traffic are you currently getting per day on your tube sites with Embedded Videos…?They do not get a lot of traffic, because they cover some specific niches and they rank for some keywords so it is definitely possible. If you are going to run a general site like PornHub then it is going to be really hard to compete with them, but for the niche stuff, it is still doable with embed videos.
