Besides amateur content, I’d like to move in the direction of providing full-length larger studio/known films and classics.
Any ideas on best way to do this and avoid hosting vids on the site? I’m thinking even for amateur, just do downloads vs. dealing with people trying to slide in and post something that would be in violation of terms I will be setting up.
However, regarding those that do downloads from amateur sites as an affiliate, can I keep certain tags off my site? The plugin that works for doing downloads doesn’t state if I can block things the sites should be blocking. But, that stated, memberships does add up vs. just revenue from affiliate links.
I’m googling options on both so might have this answered before I see a reply. However, doesn’t hurt to know options and avoid errors others have been through.
Are you going to produce the content, buy it yourself or you are going to just download and share it on your site? I would avoid doing the latter because not only it is illegal, but also this way you will not make much money, because people can watch full movies on your site so why should they sign up for other site and spend cash?
