GuestHI All, I know its been asked in the past on the other site but things also change so rapidly these days. I have seen some adult affiliate image content plastered with logos and separate watermarks and model names – which seems excessive and would not be appreciated by those using the images to promote such a pay site ?
Is a plain bottom right hand corner sitename.com ok ? OR just a logo eg without the .com
I understand the advantages as to why a pay site owner prefers the .com and why the affiliate might prefer just the logo without .com
but as everyone seems to follow one of three things – we are unsure what to do ?thanks Peter

KeymasterI would use sitename.com, no point adding the www though. That way if they decide to visit your site they know what it is. No mistakes. I do not see any harm in having watermarks, makes senses to me to use it. It is just a matter of doing it tastefully, not too big or obtrusive. Do not plaster huge logo in the middle of the images, that will just piss people off including your members.

GuestWWW is not necessary any longer for browsers so even if a surfer doesn’t type that in they still make it to the site.
In addition, it actually visually makes the site name less visible so why use it.

GuestI wouldn’t use www either.

GuestWe just use logos, but some affiliates (tube sites) require us to add extra text! I don’t like it but we have little choice, so on request we make different versions for different affiliates.

GuestI wouldnt use “www” either and I guess if your brand is strong enough you might not need the “.com”.
