There was a brief thread about Google Plus started on the other adult forums about “google plus” don’t bother.
I wanted to add on that. While I found Google Plus fascinating and if you use wordpress and some smart
plugins like “ShareIt” where google Plus1 buttons are included and will help your Google Rankings over all in
the LONG TERM, you can’t create Google Plus Pages at all, because they forbid Sexually Explicit Material.I just found out as they banned some of my Google Plus Fan Pages. Interesting enough they did not block/ban
the Google Plus account itself. I keep experimenting with it, but be aware that work that you put in might be gone
in an instant if you count on it.DOCGuestThat’s why I didn’t bother with it to begin with.
While other services start out accepting adult content – to boost usage – they all seem to eventually crack down on it when they think they’ve gained an advantage over competitors. But Google didn’t even use it as a tactic to get a jump start with this little project.Google has always been a little Victorian in their dealings with adult business. Google checkout doesn’t allow the sale of adult goods, for example.
Personally, I think it’s already another of their failed experiments. I don’t see many sites using it, and the buzz about it was nothing more than a fart in the wind lasting a day or two.
MaxtrGuestI got my adult page shut down on Google +. The problem is that you can “plus” and article somewhere and it may generate a thumbnail that has nudity. At least on Facebook, you can choose the least risky thumbnail to go with a link. I’d be happy to see Google + gone. It just seems Luke digital clutter at this point.
JasonSGuestI put one up for my site too, I guess I better take it down.
