This is something that has been bothering me for a while now and it’s about time I voiced it.
Adult sponsors, can you please break up your promo content pages? Especially when you’ve got 20-50 embedded mp4’s on the pages. My browsers are consistently getting locked up whenever I try to access your content and after a while I just give up. This happens in all major browsers.
20-50 embedded videos on one page is sure to take a long, long time to load up for someone on the other side of the planet or country. Please keep this in mind.
Change the options of number to load at the bottom of the page, the minimum is I believe 10, though the default seems to be 25.
Not when there isn’t that option to use.
some adult affiliate sponsors are pretty clueless about this kind of stuff. i recently reviewed a couple paysites with literally over a hundred episodes listed on a single page. i bet their members appreciate that as little as i did…
I’ve experienced the same thing with different sponsors and it makes searching for content a nightmare. What I’ve done to stop all this flash players from launching is to add a customer filter to ABP in Firefox. Now when I visit their affiliate sections I see no flash players.. Yea!!
Only down side is if you use their flash player you will have to temporarily disable ABP to view your work on your site to make sure it’s working properly. It’s a simple click to disable and enable so not a big deal actually. Much quicker than waiting for a page with 50 flash players to load.
