hey there i was wondering if it matters if i embed videos that have somebody elses watermark on it?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterSome surfers will go to the site mentioned in the watermark, but I believe it is a small percent of people. I am running adult site that have such videos and I really think that people do not pay much attention to this kind of promotion unless it is a really big watermark.
If you use your own video player, you can add your own logo on these watermarks if you have a knowledge of how to do that but I would not recommend doing that if you embed videos from a sponsor. You may do that if just some other adult affiliate advertise their own tube site on the other site like pornhub.
I hope this makes sense.
danGuestthanks again. also im hosting my tube site on bluehost. but ive heard that they are not adult friendly. should i make the switch to hostgator or godaddy? i dont have much traffic right now since im fairly new so i would like to switch before i start getting any traction.
thoughts?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterThey are not adult friendly, so make the switch as soon as possible.
I have never used the HostGator or GoDaddy services, but I have heard so many mixed opinions about both of them.
I can suggest you to sign up with 247Host because I am using them myself for my adult and mainstream sites since many years.
Their hosting plans start just at $2.99 per month, so it is really hard to get a better deal.
Adult themes from Xwpthemes.com are very easy to work with, fast and relatively cheap. I am also using their themes and I am very happy.
danGuestthanks again. what are you using to track visitors to your websites. should i use google analytics to track if im getting any visitors? when should whats the right amount of visitors before you start monetizing with ads?
right now all i have is some chaturbate banner ads.
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI would suggest you to use Google Analytics to track the traffic on your website. It is hard to say how much traffic you need to generate sales from your new site.
Generally, the smaller the niche, the easier it will be to convert your visitors also the better traffic source you have, the easier it is to get many sales. So if you get a lot of organic traffic from the Google, you will make more sales and a way more money than if your main traffic source would be a social media.
If the search engine sites are your main traffic source, you can expect to get a one sale for every 300 visitors that click on your affiliate link but keep in mind that every porn surfer is different and every site is different so that is why it is so hard to tell you an exact number.
Test different promotional tools, use different banners and also use different calls to action.
danGuestthanks. So would you say my main traffic would be from search engines… If thats the case then whats the best way to increase organic Seo traffic? Is changing the titles and meta tags to more search friendly titles the best way? or are there other ways?..
what would be second? other tube sites? link trading other similar sites? dirctories?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterGenerally creating a great fresh posts constantly. So yes, it involves changing the titles, adding unique tags, categories, as much unique content as possible. The second best traffic source would be the traffic from related sites but this source of traffic converts way worse than the organic traffic.
danGuestthank you. but for now is adding chaturbate and othe camming affiliate banners my best bet for now.. until i reach a certain amount of visitors to start selling and buying ads like juicy ads, plugrush and crakrevenue..?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI would recommend you to promote sponsors in your niche. If you run an amateur blog, then sell amateur paysites to your visitors. If you run a webcam site, then promote adult webcam sponsors. Of course, you may sell ads on your site, but you will not make much money unless your site gets a lot of traffic (a few millions visitors a month at least).
