Just read an interesting article by Dave over on his Business Directory Plugin site about Google’s latest algorithm rules for getting good SEO ranking for your sites. Why Google’s SEO Algorithms Matter.
Catch the full article here: Why Google’s SEO Algorithms Matter … and come back and discuss it. I’d love to hear your feedback and thoughts on building trust w/ Google.
MichealGuestI dont really read or keep up to date with SEO any more. Dont see the point. However they article mentioned something that goes back to good old common sense:
if it (Google) sees that you produce value for visitors over time (you have heavy traffic, your site gets linked to, you produce frequent content, etc.), your relationship will improve.
Which have always been true, you have to produce regular good content that visitors like.
The rest it mentions seems like old news, same things as years ago. its the off site factors that are more important and unfortunately something thats difficult to effect.
DOCGuestTo be honest, I really don’t know what happens to Google algorithm these days. For example, my first and most popular site was very good in selling fetish sites, mainly fisting and BDSM. I have unique descriptions and special trailers there, but something happened.. Recently, my vanilla adult blog sells better although it includes only copy & paste descriptions and videos provided by sponsors. So, maybe the main factor now is how many posts per day. I’m not sure that the quality and the content are still important for google.
Micheal is absolutely right. They change something every day and it’s pretty hard to follow all these changes.
javiertGuest2 syllable’s – BING It! vs. 3 syllable’s. Chrome already got thrown off my roof top and every time I hear someone say “G it!” I immediately them “I’d rather Bing It!”
CuciliGuestI am so tired of SEO gurus and experts that write about same old stuff for years, and all I can see that PBN and bad and spammy backlinks can rank adult and other affiliate sites. There is not enough space for small fish like us.
