I have been using a free cam plugin from sexplugins that displays feeds from Chaturbate on my adult affiliate site for WordPress. It is easy to use but just recently I learned that they actually skim my traffic, meaning they make money off me and I probably lost lots of revenue because of that.
It is a shame that they don’t acknowledge that they do that. If I knew it from the beginning, I wouldn’t have used them. Plus, this plugin uses too many resources so it probably is not somehow coded properly.
I am in the market for something new. It can be paid, but it has to be good and without any shady skims of course.
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI aware of them and I am not a big fan of them either. You could take a look at this tool. They have a WordPress plugin that loads your website with models from Chaturbate and other sites and it updates regularly and it allows you to do lots of SEO on all pages and it is very easy to work with once you become familiar with the plugin.
jonteGuestYou should avoid Econfirmpro as well. When they released it, it was priced for like $30, now it is $100 and it doesn’t even work well and it eats too much of bandwidth.
Robo plugin is the best plugin so far and the good part about it is that it lets you use all different cam affiliate programs on your adult site.
ericxiongGuesti have been using sexplugins for a couple of my WordPress set ups and i couldn’t get to rank it on google for anything worthwhile. i suppose mainly because it made pages load slow and it doesn’t let you edit cams too much.
dr.johnGuestBack in the day, I used to use nomoneyinporn plugin but it stopped working a long time ago since the original developer didn’t maintain it and it got many bugs and he took it down.
You could possibly edit and fix it if you have coding experience and some time on your hands but I gave up on it and I actually found this very topic while searching for some alternatives.
I suppose it would be way easier to just set up a white label webcam site, but it doesn’t give you much control so you can’t really change and add stuff.
zinkoGuestSo far I am running cam blogs and tubes and I am getting regular payouts from the sponsors.
I have experience with the two such plugins and I ditched them pretty quickly. Econfirmpro is the first one. I paid for this like $50 and it said that it is for unlimited domain usage but then they changed it and started selling it for $100. The other one is sexplugins and while it is a freebie, it constantly gave me some errors and as a non tech person, I would have to contact someone to fix them every time and it was annoying and it was using lots of resources and I had to delete it.
It seems like RS is the one option for now so I will check them out and see how well I can do with it.
qwasenGuesti have used one from hillipino and it managed to get it working for some time but since the original developer stopped updating it, i ran into too many errors and i had to get rid of it, so if anyone is wondering if you should use it or not, then i would say use it only if you can code yourself.
DeanoGuestI have a issue logged with RoboScripts as it seems the mULTI site script isn’t loading and when you add more than 1 cam site it appears to possibly cause a memory leak, but otherwise unsure if you need a specific hosting plan to support it?
Case is still open, so unsure what the root cause is.
Note: The single site script worked fine with chaturbate.
Mradultaffiliate, have you come across this issue before?
My host mentioned this in their investigation:
“It appears that there was a large number of processes spawned by your application which exceeded the resources of your hosting plan with us, which is why your website was displaying an Internal server error and your cron jobs were not being executed.
The plugin in question is the “wp-cam-builder” plugin.
Please note, that it is possible for this plugin to cause a similar issue again, therefore, we advise to review it further on your end, possibly with the assistance of the web developer. This will allow you to determine if the plugin simply requires more resources or if there is a memory leak issue with this plugin.”
Thanks in advance
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterIf you add more sites then obviously the set up will require more resources. I did not run into such an issue since I either use VPS or dedicated servers but I think that if you try to change the cron job to run every ten minutes or even more. You can see how to do that in the plugin settings, tab “Cron Job” and then choose How To cPanel or How To Direct Admin.
FrankZGuestRobo cam scripts work better on VPS so i bet that you are using the shared server plan. you should notice an improvement in the load if you upgrade i run webcam sites with the robo and it works great but i wouldn’t touch free plugins because if you look into the code, you will see some nasty stuff and they usually add backlinks or steal your traffic to earn some money from it so they don’t offer it selflessly.
