While looking at my GA stats today I noticed someone who came from qwant.com. As it turns out, it’s a new search engine from Europe (France, I think) and they say they don’t track their users nor try to guess what they will be searching for on the basis of previous searches. Also, it looks very cool and fast to me. It seems porn sites are easy to find and rank well. So for me it’s thumbs up!
Interesting… they have a connection with Microsoft.

Good luck to them, no harm in some competition but not sure why they would be able to compete when other bigger ones failed. I did test it and the results are ok however their layout with sites, news etc.. is really annoying. It’s too busy and unfocused, i dont think normal users are really that interested in all the stuff they show.
