I got my first adult blog up and running for a few months now and since I’m totally new to.. well.. everything.. I’m clueless about how to determine the right prices on my site IF i were to sell something on it. I’m not gonna do it any time soon, but I was just wondering on how to set the right price..
Info:
I got a clean amateur blog with only 1 popunder running at the moment. I haven’t sold anything nor have I done any link building yet. I get like 5k UV a day.. and almost 100% is organic.. My site is growing weekly and it seems like that google loves my blog. Top 10 geo is all tier 1 countries and 80% is US.. bounce rate is +- 60%.. (which is good right?) I have no outgoing link atm too.Question:
If I were to sell post with these stats, how much can I ask for?
What about hard links (1 year) and navbar (monthly)?
And what about if I want to sell my site? (Even though I haven’t monetized my site at all.. SEO is worth something right?)Oh and how much should I be making from ads with 5k visitors? I’m only getting money from 1 popunder atm. No banners or whatsoever at all.
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterFirst of all, I have to say that you are doing quite well. 5K unique visitors a day for a new adult site is really good and I would not sell it now if I were you, because it should get way more traffic in the future and generate more profits as well.
Selling adult sites are difficult though as a lot of people put in lots of work, time and effort which does not show on the balance sheets. The “big” sales announced over the years are also probably somewhat over-inflated.
By the way, I think your bounce rate is too high and you should definitely work on improving that score. It should be around 30% or even 20% if your site is very good.
Make sure that your theme is clean and it loads fast. Your homepage has to be user friendly and easy to surf.
