Has anyone used this free hosting service called EasyXSites? I don’t have too many funds so I would prefer to use it over a paid one, but I ‘m not sure if it’s even worth bothering. It seems like they don’t let you add SSL cert even, which is a big disadvantage right now.
I have also heard that they insert pop ups automatically into your sites and you don’t get anything from it at all. Did they abandon it already and leave on the autopilot to milk some money as long as they can.
Waste of time. I used them in the beginning. They started charging a small fee monthly, in exchange for ad free program. With or without their ads, it is still a poorly optimized platform, very buggy and with slim chances next to none of ranking.
I thought no one uses this kind of service anymore since hosting is so affordable nowadays even for adult content. Using EasyXsites and others is like playing Russian roulette. Most of the free hosts have a very short life span and die anyway sooner or later and EasyXsites had some issues with servers that resulted in the loss of data a few times before.
So why build something that will be lost one day and everything will go to waste. The old saying you get what you paid for is still ringing true, so don’t understand why webmasters use them and then complain that they can’t make any money or their site is wiped out.
I also used to run many free adult tubes before but they made me very little money, like $50 a month or even less than that. EasyXSites skim some of your traffic so they make money off of your traffic but other such services are even worse. Hostedtube also takes a big chunk of your sales (when I was using them it was 50%) and they quickly get penalized by Google for thin content and are close to impossible to rank. And these two are the best options, so go figure out. If you are serious, I would not use either of them.
It is way better to start a self hosted site, there are many adult friendly hostings that are quite affordable and some are mentioned on here, so go with them.
At this point, I wouldn’t use them for reasons already mentioned, plus they do even let you add an SSL cert to your site which is essential these days and without it, you might find it really hard to rank your pages on the Google. I don’t think you will be able to make a serious income with free hosting like this one, it might have worked in the past, but definitely not now.
I once used the hostedtube and yes it is very hard to get a ranking. Im curious if easyxsites will get the can like hostedtube did, but I discovered today, attempting to make a site, that easyxsites is not working so go figure. I instead am going to focus on my site Hifreecam.com An adult cam, free site I use AWE and I’ve seen more sales on their whitelabel than my hostedtube sites.
