Just a got an offer for a PPS from a CCBILL adult site which I currently promote on 50/50 revshare.
Just wondering:
a.) In which case would you take this offer?
b.) What would they gain from this actually? On a side note, site converts nicely and sells nicely.
olbondGuestA) I would only take the offer if the site doesn’t rebill well. Then it would be a win for you.
B) They probably want you to send them more traffic.seeqerGuestI always promote sites on PPS as I measure my performance based on revenue per click plus I want my money upfront, of course. I don’t have to worry if they will rebill or not.
So if they have that option then I’ll opt for it.
MeshPixGuestI already send a lot of traffic to them so there’s no way I would send more, I mean when they update I put up videos and galleries. There’s not much more I can do… I also make nice sales with this site and they rebill nicely.
They are offering $30 PPS
On another note I was on $19.95 PPS on Fratmen few years ago and I have to say when I went to 50/50 revshare I made much more on all those rebills than I have on PPS with them.
moneymasterGuestAs a program owner, the only time I offer PPS (with trials) is to affiliates I know could sent more traffic, but don’t. Most of our PPS (no trail affiliates) switch to revshare in a couple of months because they see they would be making more, as we show rebills even for PPS sales.
I would weigh up your options, and look at how well this site is rebilling.
Possibly they are struggling and have seen over time they would make more money from you on PPS, as they could keep all your rebills? Maybe struggling is the wrong word and they just wan’t to raise their bottom line? Seems a weird request either way if the PPS option isn’t offered as standard.MeshPixGuestNo, the PPS option isn’t offered as standard.
moneymasterGuestIf you have enough traffic and sale figures, programs can offer huge PPS, or higher revshare (I am guessing you are well aware of this? I for one never mentioned standards for adult affiliates. I simply said few programs stick to their promoted payouts to affiliates who perform well above the rest. If you have the traffic there are always deals to be made. Maybe this is the reason for your email? Or do you have no traffic?
Either way, why not do the clever thing and email the site owner and ask WHY ?Good luck!
pradepGuestIt sounds like they are trying to tempt you with a quick buck at the sacrifice of longer term gain. If your traffic re bills well i would look at the figures as moneymaster says they may be trying to up their own profits.
