I know the rate varies and there’s so many factors.

But can you guys give me a broad range of cost I should aim for?

I’m looking for a writer to write 150 – 200 words article along with choosing pictures, resizing them and including all the links.

How much is the rate per article I should aim for?

And do you have writer to suggest or where can I find them?

i’m going to leave what to pay writers to other posters here, but the price will vary depending on the number of blogs you order at a time – order one and you’ll probably pay more per blog than if you order 30. there are several experienced blog writers on this very board.

Think about how long those tasks take you. Then multiply by the hourly rate for a middle class (ish) lifestyle in the worker’s country. Or just go hourly – dealing with some sponsors’ content takes a lot longer than it does with other sponsors and you don’t want your writer to favor the easy sponsors.

WOW! I’ve never think of it that way before. Thank you.

Most blogs seem to pay between $5 and $10 a post, which is pretty bad money for North American or European writers. And you get what you pay for — $5 a post isn’t going to buy you loyalty or high-quality posts. I have worked for that kind of money, but as soon as I no longer needed the extra cash, I moved on.

If you’re looking for “Mark has a big dick, John sucks Mark’s big dick, buy a membership now” then pay $5.

Another way of looking at it is like this: Why should a blogger write for you for $5 or $10 a post when they can make $30 PPS on their own blog posts? If you want good writers and quality posts, you should be looking upwards of $20+ per post.

It’s been a while since I’ve done that per say, only because I am actually doing that right now but not for blogs, for a series of paysites as part of a migration to Elevated X. I’m paid a flat rate per posting and doing essentially what you’re looking, with the exception of re-sizing and optimizing images. It used to be based on per word count or characters, which you can set with a nominal fee, however in your case, you would need to be mindful that pic selection, resizing and optimizing is going to up the rate, as it should, most who search for writers only are looking for text.

Be very mindful of that and whomever you hire should be skilled in optimization, thumbnails or images that are too large in weight can bog down the speed aspect and loading time, and several types of posts like that would be unwise as this is something G does not look too kindly upon.

That sounds about right from dzinerbear, and would be a good starting point. I nominate our own loveable and adorable GayStoryMan, he’s got a way with words and is as savvy a veteran porn peddler as there is. I should warn he drafts his posts in crayon first, but he is a wise choice for this task.

It really does depend on so many aspects.
I price my work depending on the time it would take to create the content, the style of writing, the value of the partnership overall (a one-off agreement might cost more than a regular posting arrangement) and any research or gathering of content I might need to do.

I would suggest that you should consider how much that post is likely to make you over time and perhaps offer a good writer a reasonable price per post. This would likely guarantee a long-term partnership in a business where clients come and go every week and writers often struggle to prioritize who to dedicate their time to.
