I just have done some googling yesterday and I learned that porn directory sites like ThePornDude tend to get a lot of organic traffic so I can bet that they might be profitable. Some of them don’t have that much content so I assume they aren’t time consuming or hard to manage.
Now, I thought of creating such a site and increase my adult affiliate revenue. Is there a script or better a theme for a WordPress that let you do something like that? It needs to have submission feature so webmasters can add their listings.
While it is true that this kind of websites get a good amount of search engine traffic but you can see that ThePornDude has reviews for all sites and they do blogging too, so if you want to be at the top, you need to do more than just posting affiliate links. The one adult directory theme that I am aware of is from XWPThemes.com. I use it on my two WordPress sites and it does the job just fine. Leakpapa.com is running it and it does look great and you can customize it a bit to your liking.
i know an owner of such an adult site. it gets roughly 2 million visits every month but he has been running it for over four years. he says that it’s a full time job, mainly writes new reviews and makes a nice chunk of money from it.
