Hey all, just a quick note, as of May 1st we will be ending NATS support. All links and redirects will still work fine.
But if you want your stats from the last umpteen years, login to aff.kinkydollars.com. Beta.kinkydollars.com will soon become regular old kinkydollars.com and we’ll be sticking to our proprietary system from then on.

yes, Ive been using the beta system for a long time on my adult website actually. It seems to work ok except with a glitch where traffic got lost when they changed the URLs. It’s now stable though and works fine.
With so many people continuing to get ON the NATS system, I’m somewhat surprised to see someone abandoning it. Makes me wonder why.
Probably the cost. Nats/TMM charges based on volume and with Kink, I’m sure they are spending thousands (if not tens of thousands) of dollars per month for their Nats License. When you get to be of a certain size it doesn’t make sense to spend so much money every month when you can probably custom build something yourself for less than you would spend in a year on Nats.
I thought of that initially as well, but also thought with that much volume many things can be negotiated.
Well just speaking from my personal experience and I’m nowhere near the size of Kink, bargaining hasn’t worked. I did hear that years ago when they started they allowed a few of the “big companies” to buy a lifetime license for a large up front payment, but unfortunately not anymore. I’m sure those companies have saved many thousands (if not millions) of dollars.
I’ve been working on being able to pull stats from NATS, so I figured I’d hurry to get the stats for Kink before they’re off NATS. Then I realized I never even tagged them as being on NATS in my CMS. And from the looks of it they were on a really old version of NATS. Everything in NATS 4+ revolves around /internal.php and none of the Kink URLs have that.
So I can’t pull the stats after all. At least not with the code I’ve written. Oh well.
There are still a few NATS 3 holdouts. NATS 5 is on the way.
