Hi Mradultaffiliate,
I am very interested in being an affiliate marketing on the adult niche, and I have been researching for about a month now on how to be an affiliate marketer, and I am so happy that I came across your website. I just have a question, in the Philippines recently, porn was banned by the government. According to Wikipedia
” According to this Philippine legislation, pornography are illegal doctrines, publications, shows, and other similar material or portrayals that advocate human immorality, obscenity, and indecency. Philippine legislations penalize participation in these unlawful activities, which extend punishment to those that harbor abuse, exploitation, prostitution, and discrimination of children”
Therefore, my question are:
Can I do a simple affiliate marketing still? Since I will be targeting other countries?
Does this mean that I cannot create my own porn/webcam site (just embedding videos like you said on your guides)?
If yes, I was thinking of using a dedicated laptop with a VPN service that’s on 24/7 to do this? What do you think about this? Or should I just stop to pursue this niche (which I really don’ want to do since I have a few great ideas that I’m pondering on)?Thank you!
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterIt is not clear whether publication on sites, not video shooting, is allowed or not, but to be honest, I would avoid that. Technically you could hide what you do to some extent by using WHOIS privacy and VPN, but if they are serious about implementing this law, they can catch you.
RioGuestI appreciate the response. This is really frustrating for me. As they said, choose your niche, and I’m really really liking this niche. I think it’s best that I seek legal advice then. But anyway, I appreciate the response and I will continue to support your website! Thank you for all the information you’re sharing!
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI really appreciate it, Rio. Let me know what you do or what information you get.
LukeGuestI’m starting a filipina live streaming site but from what I hear adult content is illegal in the Philippines.. could I state on my website that this is just a meet and greet site and what you do is at your own risk I’m all about child protection members on both sides would have to be 18+ could I be liable if people start doing live explicit shows if there in the Philippines?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterIf you use the domain privacy aka Whois protection so that your identity is not revealed to the public and you do not hire actresses to shoot scenes or something in your country and not targeting any porn terms for your country like for example Philippines porn videos, then I think you should be fine, but this is my opinion and I do not know anything about the law in your country. You need to research it yourself.
