Does Google Look at that. Example: If i register an adult domain in some niche for 10 years is it better in Google’s eye than one registered for one year?
healzerGuestOkay after you clarified your cryptic question, yes if you register for a longer period, it can be taken in better, but there is no proof of it effecting rankings, or of being searched, but might figure in, depending on the content, when crawled. age of a domain does have some influence, though many say minimal. registering for longer periods is the same supposed influence.
DOCGuestMy understanding that it is used in the ranking formula to show that supposedly longevity should mean authority or that it is an expert site on that subject having been around for so long.
CreepGuestSorry. Not Explaining myself. I mean if I register now. And decide to register for 10 years instead of one. Will Google look at it and say, “hey this guy registered for 10 years, he must be serious”. Many domains that get registered for one year get parked or are nothing more than doorway pages….
darrenaffGuestYes you are right. If you register a domain for 10 years, google will take that domain much more seriously than one that you register for a year.
frosttGuestI believe google only looks at history of a domain and not how long its registered for….but I can be totally wrong on that one.
DMouseGuestThe answer is nobody knows.
