There is absolutely no formula that works.
I cut them on about 5 minutes, some more, some less… if a video is 45 minutes long then I would do anything up to 8 minutes, if it’s short video like 15 minutes then I would do 4 minutes.
I have tried every length and I have tried just about every portion of the video, from only talking, to only foreplay scenes, to just plain hardcore in the last 800 days. It made absolutely no difference to sales.
So there…
I think 5 – 7 mins and change is fine for legal adult tube videos, but again the content type matters as well. One thing is for sure, with all the free full length tube site options out there, a surfer will jump off your site in a heartbeat if the content is not interesting enough. It’s also wise to use the sponsors whose clips are not available elsewhere, 3 mins is enough.
I’ll repeat – so this thread stays on topic… We’re not asking what people THINK is best. We’re asking what the reality is. How long are the videos that sponsors are actually giving out? There are other threads for discussing what’s best.
If you’re a sponsor – how long are your longest promo clips?
If you’re an adult affiliate – what’s the most typical long length available from your sponsors?
Our clips are all 7 minutes long + intro (so around 7:15).
