I’ve been testing out mining cryptocurrency JSECoin’s monetization on my porn site: onlysexyasians.com
Basically, it’s a crypto currency which uses CPU power from site visitors (while on your site) to mine coin for you. Why I find it interesting is they’re building a media purchasing database, where you can use the coins you mined to purchase ad space on other websites, thus boosting your site traffic. I added the plugin a few hours ago and already have a few hundred coins, which is worth around 25 cents but still ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can see that you may make some money that way but be careful about such companies because they often try to scam affiliates. I have heard on the other forum that they close accounts when people request a payment and other such stories.
You also need to know that your site will be flagged as a malware by most of the anti virus software and your visitors will get a warning message upon the arrival and search engines including Google can blacklist your domain for this as well. Not to mention that some ad blockers like AdBlock block cryptocurrency mining in the browsers by default.
My adult tube site receives around one million of visitors every month and I did a quick test a few months with the most popular mining services and the most I made per day was just $20. Now, some might say that it’s a lot for them, but we make XX, XXX with cams with the same traffic so the earnings from crypto mining can’t be compared with other monetization. Plus, the anti virus software started blocking my site for it so I had to get rid of that code and I wasn’t really looking back on it at all.
