Ok, I need an adult tube script. Price is not an issue. I have tried TubeX in the past and got lost, server was overloaded and waaaay too much options to consider. I really didn’t like it, and I know many are using it.
In a search I came across some praise for the mechbunny tube script.
I was just wondering how many here have used it and if it praise worthy.
Sorry never used it. But I did have a look at it when I was first looking at setting up a Tube. It looked good, better than most of the others I had seen.
Hey, we’re using mechbunny. It is pretty basic actually and some customizations I needed couldn’t be done so make sure to ask Konrad before you buy it! Apart from that it’s stable, fast and easy to handle. Plus Konrad is a nice guy who’s providing good support. If you need a lot of functions you should give ST Pro a try, allthough you’ll have to pay a lot for templating (> 1k$) and it’s not as customizable.
I’m about to purchase a licence after testing all existing tube scripts, XWPThemes.com seems the best.
I have 2 copies of STP. It’s a good script, the GUI is really intuitive and easy to use. It has too many functions and sometimes you end up using just 20% of its potential. The biggest problem is the support. Goodwill is a good guy, very skilled and helpful. He can’t code, project, plan and do support service. If you have a problem AFTER about 11 am (GMT + 1) you have to wait till the day after. Forget about the weekends.
Konrad is always online, drunk or not he always helps you.
XWPThemes.com is great and support is amazing. We own about 5 different scripts but all our new installs are on XWPThemes.
TubeX is not bad but its instructions are horrible. I’m a programmer and it took me several days to figure it out. Once figured out though it’s pretty straightforward to keep going. Problem is anything that pulls video and thumbnails it is going to use ffmpeg which unless you have a very solid VPS is likely going to bring it to its knees every time it updates.

I’ve been using wp-script.com and I’ve been happy so far. Support is spotty; they always get back to you, but sometimes it takes days, which is annoying.
