I’m using a theme just has it’s own built-in SEO component on the one adult website. By default it puts a index, nofollow on individual post pages. I’ve confirmed that with the theme maker that the nofollow applies to all links on the page, so that would include everything on my sidebar.

This isn’t going to work because I have recips to other bloggers on my sidebar and I actually have other links in posts and on my sidebar that I do want followed.

Thankfully, I can shut this off. But I’m wondering, since I have to open up every post and do a little clicking here and there to achieve this, should I put a nofollow on my actual sponsor links. I already have my jumpscript file as disallowed in my robot.txt file.

Is adding a nofollow on sponsor links a good idea, too, or is this overkill?
