I am about to start my very first adult site on WordPress and I am going to embed videos on it. I am thinking about the monetization part now. I am already registered with some cam companies mentioned on here but I think if it is worthwhile to also promote porn tube affiliate programs? There is the one from PornHub named Hub Traffic, there is also GotPorn, the XHamster partnership program and a few smaller ones.
Is it going to be my main source of revenue?
I would like to know this from webmasters with the experience in that field.
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterThere are many such affiliate programs and the most popular one is Hub Traffic. They let you to populate your adult site with their embedded videos from PornHub, YouPorn, RedTube, SpankWire, XTube and you can earn a commission with them for each view and even though they have the highest payouts in the industry, you still earn pennies.
They pay you only from only 25 cents up to 3 dollars per thousand, it depends on the geo quality of your traffic.
To get any real revenue using this monetization, you will need at least 30,000 visits a day, anything below that number will get you peanuts.
You could make much more cash promoting cam sponsors than with Hub Traffic and other similar programs, especially if you get lots of visitors from Google. You can find my best converting adult websites here: https://mradultaffiliate.com/recommends/
martinktmGuestI only have a bad experience with such programs. I have used HubTraffic but they suspended me even though I was promoting them on my legit site that gets only clean traffic from trades and search engines. I guess that they just did it because I was near the payment threshold. On top of that, they pay very little and even more, they sure shave off the views and they don’t care to reply to tickets. Taking it all into consideration, you don’t want to waste your time with them and there are better ways to earn money as an affiliate that will pay off tenfold.
konigsGuesti was making only 100 months a month with hub when i was working with them and i had like 5,000 uniques a day by that time. to make any decent amount with them, you will need like 100,000 visitors. so what they pay it isn’t much, if you get a decent traffic, promoting adult affiliate programs, especially cams can definitely be a more profitable way.
bindaasGuestIt took me two months to reach a minimum payment but I never received it. I contacted the support but all I got is the radio silence. Manwin clearly doesn’t care for hubtraffic and they are putting their bare minimum resources into it while clueless new affiliates are promoting them. I just made a whopping dollar a day if I were lucky, so definitely going to try CPA networks and webcam programs now.
BalaboitGuestManwin is more into money laundry than into porn, that’s the fact.
hacxxGuestI went ahead and I joined the one tube affiliate program HB because they have the biggest sites under their platform. After twenty days I have to say that the comments left by posters in this topic were true. I only made some beer money while my adult sites are not receiving much traffic (I’m at 2,000 uniques a day) but I would expect more than what I got. I make a little bit more than 300 dollars a month with CK and it keeps growing as I continue getting more visitors.
chetnatGuestI have been doing the research myself after I set up my first adult site and found this topic. It really lokes like tube sponsors don’t pay well and I’d probably never reach the level in which I’d make good green with them.
ruepooh89Guest@hacxx whats CK?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI am pretty sure that he meant CrakRevenue but I do not know for certain.
