I’ve been experiencing the same problem on three different WordPress adult sites.
I type a new blog entry, hit save and the text disappears. All of it. If I hit Publish, it shows up blank. But if I save the text to Notepad and keep re-entering, eventually I will be able to post it.
If I open up older posts that are scheduled, they disappear, too.
Don’t know if it’s my computer (2007 iMac), my browser (Firefox) or what. Can’t be the Host, because it’s on three different sites and two different hosting companies.
Any ideas?
there was an issue aways back and it should be on the wordpress forums, though if i recall, the solution was to backup everything up, in the db, and reinstall the core files afterwards.
but don’t quote me.
Several questions — What version of WordPress; is it running any cache plugins; have you tried other browsers (Chrome specifically) and cleared cache; do you have ssh access so you can see what exactly is going on? And also one thing is a bad/corrupted plugin could cause this sort of event so disabling plugins and seeing whether that affects things is something to try.
