Gordon CraigGuest
I’m signed up with TMDhosting and using WordPress with the Roboscript for a WP cam site installed. For some reason the site isn’t generating any cam feeds when I preview the site. I’ve checked every setting, I have my license key installed, I’ve had the server settings checked and I’m using the supplied Roboscripts theme. All I get when I preview the site is just the top menu bar and a huge blank placeholder in the center that looks like an image is missing. I have a ticket open on their site for help but they are painfully slow to respond. I’ve had TMD check everything with the install and they’re all good with everything. I haven’t dealt with setting up a website in some time so bear with me with all the questions. Thanks!
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterIt is hard to tell without seeing it live first. Can you add the link to your cam site in your next reply, there is a field to leave it so only I can see it.
Gordon CraigGuestThanks for the reply. I’ve added the domain name. Sometimes when I go to the domain I get the hosting placeholder page, other times I get my site. Let me know what you end up seeing. Roboscripts did reach out to me and they had me add them as a user so they can go in and check my settings.
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterThe site is loading for me, you might have been seeing that page because your DNS records have not propagated yet. There are no models, it looks like something is not set up correctly, let the Nick check this out and he will find a fix for sure.
Gordon CraigGuestThanks for looking. The Hosting placeholder was a cache issue on my end, I’m seeing my page but have the big 404 not found in the center. I’ve checked every single setting in the plug-in and have no idea what could be stopping the feed. On a different note, I also signed up for CrakRevenue, do you know if their WP plugin generates a full webcam page like the roboscript does or does it only add supplemental advertisements on the sites, bottom etc of the page?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI know that they have their own plugin but it only lets you add cam embeds as a widget on your site so either in the sidebar, footer, header et cetera, so you can not build a full page like with the Robo. However, adding their ads might be a great way to monetize your traffic.
Gordon CraigGuestThanks for clearing that up, so in essence, I can run both plugins at the same time for the same page? I can use Roboscripts to generate the page itself and then add the crakrevenue content in the sidebar, bottom etc through the widgets getting both Chaturbate (site I’m promoting with robo) and Crak at the same time
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterYes, you can use both these plugins at the same time without any problem.
Gordon CraigGuestThanks. I have to say tho, Roboscripts are painfully slow to reply to their support tickets, I’m at a standstill waiting on them. Thanks for all your help!
Gordon CraigGuestLooks like we’re all good, they must of been busy. It was the affiliate ID that was incorrect. It wasn’t made very clear on CB what the code was and it was rejecting the wrong code I had inserted.
