Hi, Mister Adult Affiliate!
If visitors have adblockers installed, they are unable to watch the live cam rooms on a roboscripts site. Is there a way around this, other than forcing them to disable their adblockers? I believe many prefer to just bounce instead of closing their adblocker. Others perhaps do not even know how to do disable the ad blocker, so they just close the site and increase the bounce rate for the robo site.
A big issue is with LJ cams, because on other sites, the robo script displays a message for them to disable the ad blocker if they want to view the content. But with LJ, there is no message, so they do not know what is happening, therefore they have no other choice but to close the site. Take a look at the attached image, which is taken from the demo robo site, using an LJ chat room.

Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterI have been well aware of this issue and I think that it has been discussed before but there is a one work around this. You need to create a white label with your own domain and then use it on your Robo site and the cam rooms will be displayed fine. The thing with this is that AdBlock automatically blocks all affiliate iframes from the cam site and if you use your own domain, it goes undetected.
If you need a guide on how to do this, contact Roby, it is quite simple to do. If he does not reply quickly, I might give you some steps on here too. I have only done this with the CB, but it sure is a similar process with other affiliate programs.
BalaboitGuestThanks for the reply, but allow me to disagree on this. I have only white labels, I am not fond of promoting the main sites. Therefore, my chat rooms on robo site are white labels, and the visitor still gets no live feed. You can check for yourself, I placed my robo site in the required box. It only has two white labels, and one of them is LJ, which does not display the live feed if ad block is enabled.
By the way, who is Roby?
Mr Adult AffiliateKeymasterSorry, I meant, it is Nick. I have never intensively promoted LJ, so I will take a look at it and see what can be done.
BalaboitGuestThank you for this!
NickGuestHi,
For Chaturbate, Bongacams and Streamate when you add a WhiteLabel the live chat applet is pulled form your WL domain and links from thumbs go to your Wl also so Adblock extensions cant block those. Unfortunately with Livejasmin the livechat applet can be pulled from their WL only links will not get blocked.
Hi Balaboit what is the second site you are promoting that gets blocked?
Regards,
NickBalaboitGuestHi, Nick!
I only have one robo site so far, and I only have this issue with LJ white labels. The problem is that if the user has the adblock enabled, he does not even get that message which asks him to disable it. He sees no chat room and he closes the site a.s.a.p. But if he knew that his ad blocker is to blame, he may decide to disable it and watch the chat room. I think this issue really needs a fix, the notification message has to appear if ad block is detected.
Thanks for replying, Nick!
