I tweet my adult blog posts and today I noticed that 2 posts of the posts I did last night were no longer in my tweet list. One was a hardcore post and the other had some sounding going on.
The tweets literally disappeared. The others were still there today though. I take it linking to more hardcore fetish type posts isn’t allowed?
Sammy8GuestMost likely it’s just your blog had trouble hitting twitter, I had same issue Tuesday and only problem was the resolv.conf file hated the world. I’ve not seen them censoring…just the WP plugins can be shakey at times. And make sure they’re up to date, I changed to WordPress Tweeter as the other one got seriously messed up by the new auth scheme.
mascimaxGuestI don’t use a plugin to tweet. I do it manually and just plug in a shortcode url. The plugin I was using only works with one blog on a network. Besides, I can put in an attractive bit of text relating to each individual blog post by doing it manually.
I appreciate the feedback though Sammy8.
So, now that I know it’s not a technical problem on my part, why would Twitter take down those 2 blog posts?
DOCGuestI don’t see why your tweets would mysteriously disappear.
What URL shortening service are you using?
JimsterGuestsometimes twitter eats posts. i have plenty of accounts running adult content 24-7 and never had anything happen. twitter is buggy as hell and overloaded.
