Just got the below message from Webmaster Checks (Cross Town Services) that they are closing:
“WebmasterChecks will no longer be offering any services to our clients. After legal council, it has been advised to us that we should discontinue all services.”
If you are an adult affiliate that gets checks from them or are a webmaster that uses them to pay your affiliates (which we do) then that will be no more.
We sent them funds for our April 17 affiliate payouts and they did send out the payments so it looks like they are not screwing anyone over but just ceasing operations.
Our program, Male Revenue, always pays affiliates on time and we will continue to do so. Most likely checks will come directly from us (OLB Media LLC) moving forward.
It sorta makes sense that they’ve stopped. What they were doing violates the “Know Your Customer” standards that the US government has been pushing to prevent money laundering and the like.
If you’re looking for a check service, MindGeek uses Western Union. Or better yet, start doing ACH.
