Well ummmm it’s not really my job…believe it or not i’m a scientist in my professional life….but offcourse just out of uni and in this horrid economic climate and well my liking (for lack of a better word) of some porn (stars) made me realise that there could be some extra cash in this market…so I built a couple of sites…
It may be a job for others but for me it’s a hobbie, so don’t generalise…and why not earn some extra cash from it. It’s not rocket science…I simply sometimes bypassed extremely large images if im not fond of the scene or the performers. Now that a couple posters directed me to the proper image optimization tools…that may change….
the bigger the picture the better, imho. while it may cost some affiliates 5-10 minutes, it’s often the difference between whether i do a post or not.

That is so TRUE. Takes me maybe a half hour to do the various photos from different sponsor that MAKES a huge difference in the posting.
Hobby or not, if you looking to make money, it does take a bit of work, resizing downwards is a minimal task.
Yes, don’t give me smaller pics … I have no problem resizing pics. I’m frustrated with adult programs that still give pics that are less than 500 pixels wide, my collages are 670 pixels wide so it’s hard to make an interesting collage with pics that small.
And seriously, you can put up a post in 5-10 minutes. I can’t imagine they’d be anything than would interest anyone in buying many memberships. I guess I could slap up some pics and cut and paste sponsor text, but seriously … do those kind so posts sell?
To each his own, but I like them BIG myself! You can do a lot more with the large ones.
I use EasyThumbnails for batch re-sizing.
Adding my 1 cents worth for larger quality pictures as well.
Quality screen grabs are okay (but rare)
Images that are at least 600 px wide go very fine with me and even bigger isn’t a problem.
