Hello, I have a porn site that has been growing at good pace for a while now. I noticed the larger it gets, the more DMCA content removal requests I will receive. Thing is sometimes the user does not ask me to take down the video but instead goes straight to the hosting company for the takedown. When they go to the hosting company, you get warnings until they eventually disable your server or hosting account. How do porn sites deal with this issue? I know porn sites that have 100,000 or more videos and are still running. What is the solution to this if anybody knows?
If you want to receive DMCA notices directly to your email address, you would need to set up the DMCA removal form so the content owners can file in it and notice you or else you should post some information on how to contact you. Now, it is also important to link this page in the visible place, like in the menu or in the footer, so they do not overlook it.
I do not think you can do more than this other than making sure that you do not post infringement content, of course.
I see. I have a DMCA content removal form and everything but some think it is faster to go after the hosting. When you do porn, most content is going to be of others lol. Thank you though!
