Hello Mr. Adult Affiliate and hello to all members of this forum!

5 months ago I added an SEO optimizer to my wordpress tube site. One of the items on the checklist is to write at least 300 words per post, so I began to give full reviews to the videos I added.

As I read your forum, I see here and there that you suggest only 2 sentences for descriptions, and I remember on another post where you mentioned about 50 words was good.

Since addiing the SEO optimizer, 300 words for video descriptions has become 2nd nature and it has boosted my rankings on google.

Seeing as results are positive, do you recommend continuing my writing, or is there a downside to this that I am not yet aware of?

    In your debt,

I do not add such long descriptions for videos but if you really can write such long text without overstuffing it with keywords and make it look natural, then by all means go for it, but I would not recommend it for a vast majority of webmasters because they will end up wasting a lot of time writing text that will not rank, mainly due to the keyword stuffing.

The bottom line that there is no minimum and maximum of words you can use. There are tubes that add just a one sentence and there are others that do not any and do well in search engines and you have to test things and see which one is the most optimal for your niche.
