Have any content producers had experience with the adult VOD GayHotMovies.com? If so, how were their VOD sales?
I noticed that they have some major players onboard, but much of the content doesn’t seem to very recent. Any comments?
The best VOD platform is PPV Networks, IMHO. They only handle bareback and bear stuff (some condom on the bear side). My guess is you’ll make significantly more money with just your bareback stuff there than you would putting all your content on a something like Gay Hot Movies. The reason is they’re the closest anyone comes to a “Netflix of porn” – memberships start at $9.95/month or they can go a la carte, and there are relatively inexpensive DVD downloads that get less expensive the more the person pays for their monthly plan. It all just works really well. And any content you put on their platform gets invisibly watermarked with the person who downloaded or streamed it (yes, it’s watermarked in real-time for streaming), so you can track and stop pirates.
I agree, PP Networks pays and converts better than any of the other big VODs. Unfortunately their selection and choices are not as big as AEBN or Gay hot Movies. But what matters is sales so maybe all that content just isnt that great any way.

I honestly can’t predict how well you would do with us versus PPV Networks or anyone else, especially without seeing your content, but give us a shot. It doesn’t hurt to put your content in multiple places, and once you’re signed up, getting new content online with us is as easy as a quick FTP upload, then we’ll take it from there. If you decide later that you’d rather not have your content on our site any more, let us know and we’ll pull it.

Danny just an FYI that when I went to GayHotMovies on my Chromebook laptop I get the mobile version of the site. When clicking on the “non-mobile” link I still get the mobile version so you may want to fix that. My Chromebook has a 13 inch screen so I use it as a laptop… no need for a mobile version of your site.
Also, I couldn’t find a “How to become a studio” link in your site menu. Do you have one and if so can you provide a link? I’d like to learn more about your process for selling my content and how it compares to sites like Clips4Sale.

I sell some content through them… it is worth uploading there, too. My biggest sales VOD-wise on the finished products are through AEBN. AdultEmpireCash doesn’t seem worth the upload time, I put one title there and it earned 28 cents…
