Hi, I’m sure this was posted before but I’m wondering what tools are good for researching keywords. I’m interested in creating an adult tube site and I know some niches I like I’m just wondering if I should go more general or specific. Part of that decision is how little search traffic may be if I get too specific and how much competition I would have if I go more broad. I know more specific will have more traffic but the returns would be better since its more targeted.

For example if 3 niches I like are Latina, ass, public would it be better to combined all 3 as a niche “latina asses in public”, should I go more broad with just “latinas in public” or maybe “asses in public” etc.(I’m assuming just one of the words by themselves would have too much competition). It seems like some keyword tools would help me figure that out but googles keyword planner wants a website (which I haven’t made yet obviously) and business name? The other sites seems to be very limited in terms of information for free unless you get a subscription?

    Any advice?
    Thanks!

The paid tools that use are SemRush, Ahrefs and KWFinder for keyword researching. They are all good but they cost a bit and I can understand that most of the beginning affiliates can not afford them. If you are the one of them, then check out the next paragraph.

But there is a free way. You can just google the keywords and check for the competitors. There are many free software like Alexa or SimilarWeb that show you roughly how much traffic they receive for particular terms. So you search for something like “Latina public porn” and then go to Alexa and SimilarWeb and enter the domain name and check out the search traffic volume for particular keywords.

Cool thanks for the reply. I have a couple more questions just out of curiosity if you feel like answering.

Have you ever expanded a tube site you’ve created once the niche has been proven successful? As in, selling premium content from that niche under the same branding via the site, clip store, or making a paysite off of it or do you basically just stick with continuing to embed videos and selling traffic/ad space/promoting other established content producers/products? (I know your more affiliate so I’m pretty sure I know the answer) Do you think these days it’s even feasible to ever start producing your own content or having it produced for you?

Should I have a blog on my tube site? I thought I read somewhere you said it might be a good idea but I can’t recall.

I have some content myself that I’ve used for other ventures in this industry. Would the videos be good to upload parts of to other tubes sites for marketing mine, same with photos to TGP galleries etc?

    Thanks for the help, appreciated.

Thanks for the reply! I have a couple more questions just out of curiosity if you feel like answering them.

Have you ever expanded a tube site once the niche has proven successful? Such as selling premium content under that same brand via the tubesite, clip store, or made a paysite from it? Or do you just continue to embed videos and sell traffic/promote established content producers/products? (I know you’re more affiliate so it might be an obvious answer) Do you think this day it’s ever feasible to start producing your own content or have it produced for you, or is that just situational?

Should I have a blog on my tube site? I thought you said it may be a good idea somewhere but I can’t recall.

I have some of my own content from other ventures in this industry. If it fits the niche should I upload parts of clips to tube sites to promote mine? The same with photos on TGP galleries etc?

If you have a cam site do you promote your cam site on your own tube site or do you just directly promote chaturbate or the site your using?

I know a lot of the questions can be situational and I’m just asking out of curiosity so feel free to have a short response or none at all.

    Thanks!

Sorry can you delete the first reply? I sent it twice because the response didn’t show up and the second reply is better I think.
