I’m really embarrassed to ask this but when you add an RSS feed from an affiliate sponsor to your adult blog are the images within the feed stored on your server or are they just links to the images stored on the sponsors end? If stored on my servers it seems like my hosting storage could fill up fast if I added a lot of RSS feeds.
Believe it or not I’ve never really dabbled in RSS feeds but I have some unused domains and thought I might populate them with some feeds just so something is there. But I’m not sure I want to do it if a bunch of images will be stored on my site.
It depends on how your script pulls the feed. Some give you an option to store the images locally. Otherwise the sponsor serves them off their servers.
Generally images are stored on their end, I believe that’s how it works most of the time. I’ve yet to come across a feed that makes you store the images on your server.
Thanks… this would be for a WordPress blog. Any suggestions for a good feed plugin?
