I have my little dating site up and its free to join, but members can upgrade their membership for a small fee to get bonus content.

I’ve been approached by someone who could be a large adult affiliate to promote my site as an affiliate. Im with CCBill so I think I can plug that in.

My question is, could that backfire in my face if I have members on my own who are joining for free, and my affiliate has members who are paying to join the site?
    How could I work it?

I mean I’d love the free sales but dont want angry paying customers when they chat with other free customers and find out that paying is optional and not required…AFTER they paid.

absolutely that could backfire in your face. i wouldn’t even consider doing it!

the way to do it is to up your cookies to 6 months or a year, let your affiliate send traffic to the FREE site and if the cookies are long enough, he’ll get credit for any sales/rebills even if they happen in 4 months. on the other hand, you might consider a leak-free version of the tour for affiliates with an external as well as internal donation link.
