I see many sites created with robo, who have a customized home page, where there is a lot of text. How important is having such a home page, from the SEO point of view?
There are many elements of SEO that are more important than others and content is one of them, so having a unique text on the homepage can definitely help to improve rankings but do not overdo it, because porn surfers are looking for a material to jack off to, not the wall of text.
You can take as an example sites that you can find rank high on the Google.
