Hi. It’s my first post here and I would like to thank everyone for sharing knowledge.

I recently decided to start a niched livecam site , bought a domain, bought a hosting through this website.

I installed WordPress on it, and right now I believe I am somehow of consciously incompetent, meaning I went from not knowing what I don’t know, towards knowing what I don’t know.

What I am trying to say is that I’m having a really hard time to understand what to choose first? A theme? A template? A plug-in? A script? I’ve read that some themes don’t work with a particular script, some templates don’t work with a particular plug-in and so on, scripts with templates et cetera.

For example, maybe this question is dumb, but can I edit a theme/ or a webpage with Elementor ?!

Also, some themes or scripts only work with some affiliate programs.

Can someone explain what should I get first, the theme or the script? Or the plug-ins and the templates?

Because as I can see, unlike in the non-adult world, you cannot search for some themes directly on your WordPress Dashboard, or search for plug-ins or scripts.

I am really confused right now. I’ve seen scripts like wp-script, or like roboscripts, and other scripts like red5cam, idsADULT, webvideo, videowhisper, fluffvision, webstream et cetera et cetera.

    These scripts..do I need a theme first? Or a plug-in?!
If someone can please clarify these things a little bit for me 🙂 thank you so much!

Wp-script sell themes and plugins (kinda confusing if you’re a noob like me, I know). I bought their retro tube theme and it’s pretty easy to use.

It can be confusing for sure, but did you read this page that can be a good introduction to the adult webmastering: https://mradultaffiliate.com/recommends/

If you want to start a webcam site then check out this post that I made and it explains in a good detail what you have to do:
