Ok, it might be a dumb question I guess. LOL. However, we use the term Adult Webmasters all the time in our business and I’m just curious if for some of you it only pertains to actual paysite/affiliate program owners, or if affiliates can be included as Webmasters.
I’m reworking some text and I’m wondering if it’s advisable to use the title Webmasters when addressing potential new affiliates of a program.
So – What does Webmaster mean to you in the adult business?
of course webmaster can be applied to affiliates. it can be applied to anyone who runs a website.
Yeah, I thought so. Like I said, it’s kind of a silly question. I guess I just wanted to get a wider perspective from others in the event I use it. Thanks Jundieed.
I think the term “affiliates” is probably best in this regard.
“Webmaster” to me means anyone who runs a webpage. An affiliate is not necessarily a webmaster, but it’s common enough to just use the term webmaster (like Dynamite Studios’s sites going back to the 90s) that it would make a minimal difference at this point.
But yeah, technically “affiliate” may be more accurate.
