    Hi Mr. Adult affiliate.

Like many others here, I’m new to all of this but eager to learn.
My motivation to start an adult website is to generate an income to support my two kids and myself.
Conventional jobs aren’t an option due to severe PTSD.
I came across your site today. I’ve been reading through your site all afternoon. Lots of really good information here.
Before I found your site, I purchased a domain and hosting through a hosting company that, I thought, looked like a good candidate based on info I got from another site I was reading. I’ve done a lot of reading on adult web mastering. LOL
So I have a domain that is a .xxx for $12 a month and hosting through AbeloHost.com for $33 per month. I signed up for the shared hosting Pro SSD Pro v3, that comes with a Cloudflare storage account. Whatever that means.
I haven’t built a website yet, I’m having difficulty finding a theme to use.
I’ve been chatting with a technician at Abelohost about a theme and getting the site up but its taking awhile for responses.
So, is that a good hosting site?
Is an .xxx a good site to promote?
Should I stay where I’m at or move to the sites you recommend?
If I move is it possible and easy to keep my domain?
AbeloHost offers a 30 day money back guarantee. I purchased from them yesterday.

    Thanks for your help,
    Billy

    Nice to meet you Billy.

I have taken a look at the Abelohost’s website and honestly you are paying way too much for your hosting if you are starting out.

If you want to build a new adult site, then you can use a way more affordable hosting which will be less than five bucks.

Look, you do not need a lot of that what they give you. You can cancel your plan and ask for a refund, but before that contact the new hosting that you are going to use.

I can recommend you 247Host. I have written a post about them here and you can read comments which show that they are very good and very affordable.

Sleep Well With A Good Adult Friendly Hosting

Best of all, they have a nice support for that price.

If you contact them today and tell them that you want to move from another host, they will move your site for free and they will help you with everything.

Honestly, you have made a few mistakes and you should never ever buy a domain from your hosting and here is why:

    webhostman.com/you-should-always-keep-your-domain-registration-and-hosting-separate/

I am not against .xxx domains, but if you are paying $12 a month for a one domain, then ask yourself if you can afford it because you can get a com domain for twelve bucks a year and dot com is the most trusted extension.

So, what I would do now is I would contact the host that I recommended first and tell them about your situation and mention that you have a xxx domain that has been registered through your current host.

It would be a lot of easier if you would just have hosted your site on their server but they will find ways to overcome it.

You can also check out for dot com domains and maybe there are some domains that you want to grab and they are way more inexpensive and more reliable.

You should move your site if you want to keep it and then contact the old hosting that you want to cancel the plan and quote their refund policy.

    Thank you Mr. Affiliate.
I took your advice and now have a domain from Namecheap, hosting with 247-host ($3.49) and now I’m looking at the themes.
Yam, Rosa, Kute, BBtube…. Is one better than the other?
I want to have pages of thumbnail pictures that open quickly when clicked, a section of quality videos and shorts and also a webcam section for the live entertainment. I would like to have program affiliates with the good sites, such as pornhub casino and also monetize my site with other advertisements and membership options.
Do you recommend one over the other?
Any additional thoughts or advice are welcome.
    Thank you

Good to hear that. For themes I would recommend ZingTube but YameTube, YoloTube or BuceTube should be fine too. It depends on which one looks better for you.

So what is your site going to be about? I would suggest picking one niche and do not go too broad with your topic.

I have never heard anyone make good money with the PornHub casino. You should promote sponsors in your niche. So, on teen adult site, promote teen programs and so on.

    Okay. Thank you.
I initially intend on starting with just the basic beautiful women still shots. In attractive provocative classy poses. But since reading your blog I may start with videos and webcams, since they bring in good revenue, if that’s still a correct assumption. I like clean classy images myself but I need to start generating some cash flow as soon as I can. Once established I will work on additional sites. Is that a viable plan? What do you recommend?

I’m going to go with YAME. I like the black background. Not sure if the others offer that, the descriptions do not cover details like that.
Do I have to purchase a theme for each domain I have or can I use this theme over and over again?
If I setup a live webcam site, where is the best place to find the webcams to put on my site?
    Thanks

It is best to start a website in a specific niche, not a general website like PornHub where they post videos in all kinds of categories.

So if you think that you may do webcam tube site, then go for it. If milfs turn you on, then create a milf tube site.

If you get the YameTube, you can make a site in any niche and since it is a tube theme, you will need videos.

You can use this theme on multiple domains. You can populate your site with videos from XVideos, PornHub or XHamster. Just create a new title for your video, preferably add some text to your post and add the embed code from the tube site and it is as simple as that.

Okay, so I’ve canceled my subscription with Ablehost, they are giving me the run around on a refund.
And I have hosting with 247-Host. My domain is pornhubxxx.net, I had purchased it before you recommended I stick to a specific niche, so I have it and pussyxxx.xxx but I may drop that one and pick up something .com or .net.
I picked pornhubxxx.net because it is so close to pornhub that I hoped to draw traffic because of the popularity of the name. Not sure if that is a valid plan but its what I was thinking before I stumbled across your site with all the good info. Lol
I’m looking at scarlett content to purchase some pictures and videos to populate the site and then start adding webcam content and affiliate ads.
    Is that a viable plan?
Is there something I’m missing that I should implement since I have a website with the name Pornhub in it?
A way to draw traffic or specific affiliate that would do well under my site?
    Thanks for your help

I am pretty sure that PornHub is a registered trademark and they may take this domain at some point because you use their name in your domain. If you are thinking long term, then I would not recommend using such a name.

Try something different maybe, just play with words.

You do not have to buy content, you can either sign up for some affiliate programs in your niche or embed videos from XVideos or XHamster or other websites.

I do not recommend starting a general porn tube site. You should narrow your niche, so if you want to promote webcams, then start a tube with cam videos or if you want a site around big tits, then post only videos with such content.

If you start a porn tube with all kinds of categories, you will find it very hard competing with the popular sites.

    Check out this post:

General Tube Site Vs. Adult Niche Site: Which Is Better And Why?

Preferably you will aim to get organic traffic, so to achieve that you will need to work on ranking your site.

It will take some time and hard work, but there is no other way to make it online.

Here is some information on SEO:

    mradultaffiliate.com/topic/how-can-you-do-seo-on-a-adult-site/

So, I would get a domain and in the name you should include the main keyword for your site. So if you want a site around teen cams, then get a domain like teencamgirlz or something like that.

Once you set up the site, then add some content constantly. You will find literally thousands of videos on XVideos, PornHub and other sites that you can populate your site with and it is legal, since below every video you have the embed code which you can use on your site.

My best converting sponsors are https://mradultaffiliate.com/go/chaturbate/ and https://mradultaffiliate.com/go/crakrevenue/ which has a few sites. I would recommend starting with the first one.

    Post your new question here.

    Have a nice day.
