Now there is great traffic leak on chaturbate, too. I do not want to promote another forum here, but I did paste a link to that forum in the WEBSITE field, which is only visible for Mr. Adult Affilaite. He can make it public here, if he thinks it is appropriate.
In that forum, many webmasters are complaining and are concerned about chaturbate models asking members to sign up A NEW ACCOUNT using their referral code. Furthermore, some of them tell their members to delete the cookies first or use incognito mode (page 31/post 1503 of that link I sent you, Mr. Adult Affiliate). This way the webmaster who referred the customer loses him in favor of that particular model.
Someone said that models should not be entitled to have a referral program. They make money by broadcasting, and we should be the ones making money from referring traffic. Our job is to send traffic, and the model job is to broadcast, simple as that. They are tempted to misuse those referral links that they were provided with, and this is how they steal traffic from webmasters. And if you own a white label, you are pretty much screwed, because many chaturbate models promote heavily their twitter handle on chaturbate, and they promote chaturbate on their twitter. ANyone coming from your white label to their twitter is a potential lost member.
Sadly, Balaboit, cam models from all sites do this kind of stuff and they get away with it, as long as the program makes money too. It is what is it. But what BongaCams is doing is way over the line, they still have that SpyGasm pop up and they don’t credit affiliates for sending a lot of traffic to it. Basically, they get a massive promotion for free and they don’t seem to care one bit if it’s done in an ethical way. It just kills the credibility and trust in an instant.
It has been now eight months since they launched this Spygasm site and affiliates are still not getting a cent for pushing it. It’s a traffic leak plain and simple. In December they said on the other forum that they are actively working on adding it to their BongaCash program and yet nothing happened. It’s really good that topics like this one exist so other people can read it and make up their minds if they want to work with them or not.
The SpyGasm site is temporarily shut down, but they long time ago promised to add it to their BongaCash page, but it still has not happened so pretty much they profited from all sales on the SpyGasm without crediting affiliates a cent. Talk about being ripped off in broad light.
I signed up at the BongaCash affiliate program two months ago and I promoted them on my adult sites that mostly get good organic traffic and even though I have a very good signup ratio on the BongaCams, it just does not convert into money. I know that the revenue on cams is growing slowly, but I work with other sponsors and I have seen some good income coming in the first month.
