I think we’ll have to try Pintrest.

The lack of immediate sales actually doesn’t bother us that much. We’re driving visitors to newsletter sign-up at the moment, using fiction posts. That’s getting us between 40-60 new arrivals a day.

In our experience it’s easier to sell to that audience because they’re already interested in the content.

My only real problem is working out what kind of content is okay for Pintrest. I guess I really should set aside a couple of hours to actually go and explore it properly and see what other sites are doing.

By the way, there was another big Google update rolled out starting a couple of days ago.

Our Organic and Type-In are about equal now.

Then the combined social media efforts – took a hit there as we (like so many) are permanently banned from Facebook now BUT we’ve had good results with Twitter, Tumblr and Insta.

Next on the list would be referral traffic.

That’s maybe the same for a lot of older adult sites now, my tube also has a lot of type in or searches for the site name.

We’re seeing type-in traffic increasing for one of our adult blogs mainly because we started throwing the logo around out there.

For some reason we’ve always been a little too polite about things like that. We’ve been working a little harder on commenting and posting in random places and it seems to be paying off.

I think a lot of people focus a bit too much on getting the link, but just getting your brand out there is enough to have curious guys searching. And, ultimately, having people searching specifically for you in Google is apparently a great way to boost organic traffic with it. Google considers you more of an authority on your subject if people actually know about you and search directly for you.
