You have a very few visitors so you have not too little data to formulate an educated opinion and possibly most of them if not all of them are bots.
I have said that good text alone will not bring you traffic. Look, in the mainstream, you could write good posts and you might get backlinks from other sites if you are really good, but it does not happen in the adult, so you need to either pay for them or exchange them.
I can see that your site has got some potential, it has got a great name, you already have put some good work into it, I would try to get some links, some can be general some in the same niche and I would also add more text on the homepage.
I do not add such long descriptions for videos but if you really can write such long text without overstuffing it with keywords and make it look natural, then by all means go for it, but I would not recommend it for a vast majority of webmasters because they will end up wasting a lot of time writing text that will not rank, mainly due to the keyword stuffing.
The bottom line that there is no minimum and maximum of words you can use. There are tubes that add just a one sentence and there are others that do not any and do well in search engines and you have to test things and see which one is the most optimal for your niche.
