No, you do not have to buy any of these to create an adult site. To be honest, you do not have to get a ZingTube theme either, since there are free themes but they are not as good as the premium ones. So I recommend some paid products that are useful if you can invest some more money.
EconfirmPro is a plugin that will create an automatized webcam site and it can be used with any theme and the ZingTube one should look really great with it. You will be able to use this plugin on unlimited domains, so you can create as many sites as you want using this product.
RoboS is also a plugin which works like Econfirmpro but it comes with a theme but you can use any other theme that you want as well.
I recommend you to go to each site and check out for demos so you can see how these plugin work.

KenPlayer will work with any WordPress theme including the ZingTube. It uses a custom player, so when you embed videos from PornHub, XVideos or other tubes, your visitor will not see any annoying ads from these sites. It is a must have plugin if you want to build a tube website.
It is the first time I hear about this Ken Importer so I have never used it, therefore, I can not recommend it but XWPThemes has some great Importer plugins too. They will help you to grab thousands of videos from tubes like PornHub, RedTube and post them on your adult website.
Update: I have googled Ken Importer and it is the XWPThemes’ product so it must be good.

Definitely, the first option is better for many reasons. For once, you own the site and your uploaded videos can be removed and even your whole account so that is I do not recommend it.
You do not have to design a site. You can get a theme for free wordpress.org/themes/ and some of these templates can be used to start a tube: wordpress.org/themes/tags/three-columns+four-columns.
There are also paid WordPress themes. I recommend XWPThemes since I use them and they are easy to work with.
You can embed any videos from PornHub, XVideos, XHamster on your site and you can use already uploaded videos by others, so there is no need to upload them yourself.
You can import manually one by one or use an Importer plugin. I do not use such plugins since I select videos and post them, but I have heard that XWPThemes have some plugins that work very well.
I recommend starting a niche tube that concentrates on a one topic, not a general site like PornHub that has all kinds of niches.
Make sure that your domain is relevant. So for a big boobs tube site, choose something like BigBoobs4you, BigTitsLover, TitsPornVideos or something like that.

How are you going to make money? Are you going to upload videos to XVideos and embed them on your adult tube site or what?
There is no limit how many videos you can upload, I think but make sure that your videos are not too long because if many videos are reported, they will close your account. You should not just copy titles from XHamster, but change them, not completely but you should make them unique in some way.
Both sites do not look bad in terms of design, but I can see that EbonyDaily will do better because it is a niche site and PornBrite is a very general tube and you post all kinds of different videos and it is not centered around a specific niche like EbonyDaily.
You should work more on adding hand written post titles, not just copying them because it will create a duplicate content and you will find it really hard to rank your site on Google.
I can see that EbonyDaily might rank for some keywords but the other site is too general and you are competing against huge sites like PornHub and it is close to impossible to beat them.
You might consider getting the KenPlayer plugin from XWPThemes if you have some extra money, because it will greatly lower your bounce rate thus keep your visitors on your site.
Also, did you consider building a cam site on WordPress? I have written a post which explains step by step how to create one. Live camming is the most profitable avenue in the adult these days.

You just install the plugin on your website and it will automatically populate it with models every few minutes and you do not have to do much. Of course, changing some titles and adding blog posts on it will help to improve your rankings on Google. The more you do, the bigger chances are the site will do well SEO wise.

I can not give you a definitive answer, since it depends what you prefer to do but I can say that videos are more engaging and most people prefer watching videos than pictures. Now, if you are going to host these files on your own servers, then videos will eat up lots of bandwidth and disk space very quickly, so it is better to embed them from other porn sites.
If you are going with the WordPress, then you can upload some pictures and embed videos from PornHub or XVideos and use the KenPlayer plugin on your site, so it will look like the videos are hosted on your server since this software uses its own player to block all ads that tubes show on embedded videos.
